Brandol Material SeriesBRANDOL-diffusers are very proven duroplast diffusers mainly used for the aeration of waste water for more than 50 years. These are composed of pure quartz sand bonded with a resin binder to form a stable, mechanically strong porous element. Due to the exactly defined quartz grain size distribution and a well controlled production method the BRANDOL cylinders and discs have a remarkably homogeneous porous structure. This results in a very uniform air distribution and bubble release. |

Dia-Filtroplast filter elements are manufactured from High Density PolyEthylene (HDPE). The coarse grained support body is coated with a thin, fine filtering Polyethylene membrane, and both are strongly sintered together in a controlled sintering process. This results in an integral fusing of support and membrane giving a high abrasion resistance and an excellent cleanability. Furthermore, the barrier filter element Dia-Filtroplast can be backflushed even at high pressures. The standard Polyethylene barrier filter is named Dia-Filtroplast 10-80 A. The colour of the membrane is gray. If required the Dia-Filtroplast filter elements can also be delivered with a white membrane as a custom made product. |

Dia-Schumalith filter elements are successfully used as backwashable surface filters for particle separation from hot gases and aggressive liquids. They are made of a coarse porous support body of silicon carbide ceramically bonded with a fine filtering membrane. Different membranes are available depending on field of application and demanded filtration efficiency. The combination of support body and membrane guarantees a low differential pressure at high filtration fineness and an excellent cleaning behaviour. Dia-Schumalith filter elements are especially used in the field of hot gas filtration due to its outstanding resistance to temperature changes. |

DUROCEL is a high porous filter media made of resin bonded micro glass fibres. The material composition as well as a special process of manufacturing guarantee form stable filter cylinders. The combination of fine pores, high porosity and a large inner surface offers a filter media with low pressure loss at a concurrently efficient separation behaviour. DUROCEL- elements are therefore mainly used as fine filters or filtration of gases. The large inner surface of the bonded glass fibre network makes DUROCEL to an excellent coalesczing filter. |
